Artisan Loaf
A family and customer favorite, Inessa's artisan loaf incorporates a 50-50 blend of organic whole wheat and all-purpose flour to achieve the perfect balance: the much-desired chewy texture paired with a hearty, healthful flavor from the freshly milled flour. With 50% being whole wheat flour, this fully fermented loaf is slightly denser than your typical all-purpose loaf. It does not have the characteristic holes in each slice, which allows you to slather it with the spread of your choice without finding a puddle on your plate afterwards! Sourdough that has fermented 12-24 hours like Inessa's produces a product that is easier for your body to digest. The long fermentation coupled with the freshly milled flour creates a loaf loaded with vitamins, minerals, and fiber that your body can digest and use.

This fully fermented sandwich loaf has the fluffy, soft crumb of a typical sandwich bread paired with the slight tang of sourdough. It contains 90% organic whole wheat flour, which is ground at home, and 10% organic all-purpose flour. This sandwich bread holds up well when loaded with sandwich toppings and makes delicious grilled cheese! Once it is a few days old, toasted with butter is the way to go! Inessa purchases organic wheat berries and grinds them to create a fluffy flour loaded with nutrients.
